Bojing!

Yesterday Hanyi foundry in Beijing released the short film  聚  Getting Together – The Story of Bojing which I made with Yimeng Wu, which tells the story of how she created the Chinese font Bojing, an amalgamation of Berlin and Beijing. Yimeng Wu, who grew up in China and Germany, now works at her design studio in Berlin. It was a pleasure working with Yimeng to combine the design elements with the action of writing the font with ink and a brush to create a visual impression of her process.
